Hi, I’m Bevan Bunch, a graduate student at the University of South Carolina and I’m interested in bringing humanity to the world of technology. I love creating while informing people, whether that be through writing or video production.
Through my undergraduate career, I had the opportunity to employ my creative skills through writing and other mediums. Being an English major, much of my work has involved critical analyses on a wide range of texts. From classics like Shakespeare to Jane Austen in both novel and film forms, which has helped me broaden my perspective in literature and the world at large.
As I’ve moved on to my graduate program, I have begun to take those creative skills in writing and apply them more rigorously in longer term, larger scope projects that involve substantial research and collaboration with other thinkers. While the genre of text I engage with shifts from project to project, the theme stays consistent: what can we learn about our world through the lens of those who feel outside it?
